I bet you couldent guess my favorite character. But seriously, i love being a mesmer. Tooled the right way or paired with sertaint secondaries, i can disable and/ or destroy any opponent. but i have been playing with my monk and my warrior lately to farm, get rich, and explore. but my mesmer was the first one to beat prophecies.

Warrior, Elementalist, Paragon I think. Others I enjoy too. Oh, and Dervish, doing 90+ damage every single attack is pretty fun

1. Ritualist. Can solo PvE, group PvE, alliance battle, etc...the versatility (and uncommon-ness) of her makes her my favorite to play.
2. Warrior. My true first solo PvE love, and the character that I try to solo the hardest parts of the PvE world.
3. Necromancer. She kites, she kites, and she kites some more. She is incredibly powerful in her "preset roles" in group PvE, and is quite formidable in solo PvE - but her indirect "killing me softly with hexes" approach can be a bit taxing. She's probably my most powerful character, however.
4. Ranger. Having a hard time getting used to him, but in the end I may wind up liking him almost as much (or more) than my Ritualist.

Choices, choices. Here's my order:
1. Ranger - Love the ability to have a pet and I love the bow because I can fight from a distance and pull targets)
2. Mesmer - I love domination magic. Spellcasters and melee fighters can be brought down fast!
3. Elementalist - Energy storage, woot! And many different elements to play with.
4. Dervish - I like all my enchantments that set foes on fire or blind them when they end, plus the avatars of the gods. And Chilling Victory pwns.
5. Necromancer - I like curses the best, especially with Spiteful Spirit
6. Ritualist - Spirit spamming helps take out enemies fast. hehe Love all the yellow numbers.
7. Paragon - I like using all the spear mastery skills and I have a skill that removes the blocking stances (just forgot what it's called)
8. Warrior - Not big on the front-line attacks but I do like using strength and choosing between the sword, hammer, and axe.
9. Assassin - I don't know why, just can't really get into this one even though it has critical strikes.

1-Necromancer
2-Elementalist
3-Dervish
why?
Necromancer because its really cool 2 play with SS and solo farming...
Elementalist because they spike their enemy and their are strong and easy to handle
Dervish Because they are doing random damage in an group with 1 attack so stronger than Warrior.

1. Necromancer
2. Mesmer
3. Monk or Elementalist
I love playing casters as it seems to take more thought instead of just hacking and slashing away at a target until someone dies. My first character was a Mesmer but I was told they were horrible and quit it. I tried out Ranger and Monk but never got past level 8 with either in Prophecies. I then tried out Necromancer even though I hated the idea of working with minions and stuff. After playing through Pre-Searing and some other parts, I knew that was it and it soon became a special profession and will always have a special place in my heart!
I tried out Mesmer last night in PvP (Just some RA, nothing big) and was having a blast! I still can't interrupt perfectly and I'm unsure as to what some skills should be but I'm having fun just trying to learn it as I've always wanted to become a big PvPer and I love playing "underdog" classes. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to be a full-blown interrupter (I had an idea of using a bow and ranger skills too), be an energy-denial (Probable) or just a full melee shutdown.
I don't really know what comes next as it's a tie between Monk and Elementalist. I think I'd have to go with either a Water Elementalist or an Earth Elementalist. There seems to be tons and tons of Fire and Air Elementalists so it's a nice change to play as Water or Earth. I'm not that great at monking, but I did monk a few times in RA and once or twice in TA. Was a fun experience - until the party wipes because of energy-denial.
